Rolegard industrial and commercial roller shutters and grilles have been designed for internal and external industrial and commercial applications such as warehouses, workshops, shopping malls, high street frontages or leisure facilities.  Inherently strong, Rolegard provides excellent security and wind resistance whilst still offering a well designed, aesthetically pleasing solution.  Futhermore, Police Preferred and Insurance Approved solutions are available which can help reduce asset loss and insurance premiums. Externally fitted solutions meet wind pressure resistance specification BS EN 12424: class 2 and shutters are available in a range of curtain options including scrolled lath, perforated, punched, glazed, insulated and anti-cut core. Kaba’s range also offers extensive choice of activation and curtain options.

Steel industrial roller shutter doors are suitable for medium to heavy use. 
A heavy duty power operated roller shutter door can be supplied with either single solid, scrolled or perforated lath of varying gauges or alternatively a double skin 20mm thick section. Double skin offers increased security, wind resistance and insulation. Driven by a heavy duty direct drive motor, emergency hand chains are supplied as standard and door movement is controlled via digital encoder limits for consistent and accurate operation.

Rolegard steel insulated roller shutters offer excellent security and flexible access with the added benefit of thermal insulation. The composite filled profiles give thermal insulation of U = 3.8W/M². Insulated doors provide excellent levels of energy efficiency, these levels however, are greatly reduced if the door is left open longer than required. Using smart drives and controls to automate roller shutter doors not only ensures that the doors open when required, but also close when not in use greatly reducing energy wastage.
